Gundam...then and now

couldn't help but post this to make my point of how toy engineering has progressed over the years after seeing this http://www.sukumizu.jp/#20070420



from the proportions, color, poseability, articulation, boxart, it's amazingly clear that its progress is in the category of "leaps and bounds" over the past 20+ years in which gundam has been around...

come to think of it i wanted to post sthg like this long long time ago (when i posted sthg about toys of the past and what nots) but never got round to doing it...anyway gunpla is the first example...perhaps those TF G1 bricks will be next...
