deliciously droolsome duck soup

came home from gym to find a pot of duck soup cooked by dad...hohohohoho...it's so unbefrigginlievable good...

small whole duck+sichuan vege+some ginger slices+some black pepper+whole tomatoes...omg...

muscle development updates...still look scrawny...biceps got a little definition...weights at gym has increased bit by bit...weight has hit 57kg from a 53kg back in july...

have been constantly awoken in the middle of the night by my grumbling stomach for the past few weeks...recently the quick gulps of water from my bottle hasnt been able to drive the hunger pang away...so last night i decided to put snacks at my bedside as well...peanut butter m&ms....hohoho...yumz...lucky thing we have the fun packs at home...

and true enough my tummy woke me up again in the middle of my sleep last night...and sleepily i opened the m&ms...gobbled down a few...drank some water...plopped back down to sleep...thank goodness it chased the hunger pang away till the alarm went off...*phew*

looking forward to sunday's run...mentally prepared to suffer through the 42km...i hope my body is prepared for it though...hehe

tong shui cafe

impromptu celebration for dad's birthday today(well actually his birthday is on thurs, hehe)...we dined out at tong shui cafe which was very near our place...

their menu boasts of 300+ items...if really cant decide on what to have, you cant go wrong with their "zao pai cai" that's for sure

did my last run trng today...holland v route w/ slopes...1:08:37...no more running till next sunday...

collected the race pack on friday evening...M size singlet was too big ...dang it!...the arm hole is like huge man...either that or i too skinny...ya la..maybe i too skinny...hehe...will take size S next yr then...

got oasis's stop the clocks on friday too...yes...even though i have ALL the songs in there i still bought it...it's those "it's one for the collection" things i always put myself through...but hey it's got a BONUS dvd!...ooooh...

just started on my destiny gundam kit...maybe after this i'll start visiting the library...have been putting it off for the longest time...there are some titles which guorong has recommended me and i seriously need to get back to some reading...

drooled on the bus home again today...heh...and once again the amazing subconcious mind nudges me awake to slurp up the dripping drool...unfortunately i've already made a wet patch on my polo-t le...

been really bothered by this internal audit shite lately...i'm in this so-called EHS internal audit...in which i'm supposed to be assigned an audit each month...kaoz...just received a new hydrogen system checklist from QA yesterday and the frigging email also stated report is due next monday...wow...

i wonder how thorough they actually check the reports...cus if they seriously want the internal auditors to follow the checklist strictly and audit on every single friggin item in the checklist, all i can say that it will unearth a hell lot of shite...all the nonsense findings which will then translate into ACTION ITEMS which further translate into MORE work to do in order close up the dumb audit...geez....

food glorious food

had a weekend of good food...

saturday night was tos dnd at raffles city convention centre...didnt win any lucky draw prizes unfotunately...heh

sunday afternoon me and ah yee visited maxwell road food centre...we had chicken rice (tian tian hainanese chicken rice), peanut soup, and the 7 for $1 hum chim peng which u had to fry yourself...then we went to get egg tarts from tong heng-diamond shaped and sweeter-which tang had told me about...after that its another pastry shop which sold another type of egg tarts-circular and less sweet...think the tong heng one better imho...

evening was peili's wedding dinner at dragon gate restaurant at harbourfront centre...it was also sort of a primary sch gathering in a way...me, jeffrey, yongliang, weiming, shirong, royce, leonard, jianming, ellie, minyee, xiaotian, yuanshan, yili made up the primary sch frens section...

and in the tradition of all wedding dinners...the banquet started late...hurhur...think 8+ nearing 9...when the invite card stated 7...hoho...but anyways the ceremony went sthg like this:
-video of the morning proceedings...groom go bride's home collect bride...tea ceremony...etc
-bride groom enter...go stage cut cake and say stuff
-9 course dinner begins
-bride groom change gowns...go stage pour champagne on pyramid of glasses...and say more stuff
-yum seng x3 ...shirong was our primary sch representative to go on stage to yum seng
-bride groom go around tables to take photos with everyone (i hope we get to have a copy of the photos they took at our primary sch section table though)

our primary sch section also had a glass knock glass session-without the yum seng cus we thought it wld have been awkward to yum seng on our own when the bride and groom were not even there...

i downed just half a wine glass of red wine and my face started to burn...heh...

when it was time to leave...shirong, jeff and weiming brought the beer jug and glasses and wanted to make peili oh ta la with them...heh...hard to describe the whole scenario out in words...but it was really a funny moment...

yongliang sent me, jeff, shirong and weiming home in his red picanto...never a dull moment with these guys...it was way past my bedtime when i finally got into bed...a memorable evening in the company of my close friends...priceless

it's gonna be a busy weekend!

have to make my way down to jurong east after work tmr to get the samsung mp3 player exchanged...suay man...of all the sets to get i collected a faulty one...basket...

after jurong east is da ching to collect me new blue specs!

sat morning at motherland...evening is TOS dinner and dance

sun morning wash clothes...mop floor...hopefully can squeeze in a run in the afternoon...then evening is wedding dinner of one of my primary school's classmate...

missed my wed evening run cus i swapped my monday ot to wed (just to collect that faulty mp3 player...kaoz)...i was the LAST one to leave the office on wed...hoho...had to off all the lights aircon and lock all the doors...hoho...well there's always a first time for everything...

during lunch today i noticed the zipper on my quiksilver wallet has split open at one of the sides...argh...another thing to replace...or maybe ask mum see can repair anot...

adrian's 4th race!

took part in the tuas 2nd link run this morning with tang, david and mingjun...

completed this 10km race in about 40.20sthg...personal best timing for me this yr le...but still not fast enough to get top 50 placing today...and thus no medal...darn...i hope they post the official results online...i want to know how far i am behind the 50th runner...think the 2 upslopes slowed me down quite abit...

been raining raining these few days...dun even feel like jalan-ing in that kind of weather...but today's weather so good and yet i'm feeling lethargic after the run...got abit of headache too...argh...need to go recce digicam price leh...

visited the dentist and got a new pair of specs yesterday...so that's 2 items off my "to do list"...ooh...the thought of going back to work tmr...5 more days to wkend!

the attack of the lazy bug

it's back to the normal concussions on the tos bus these days...its the only exciting thing to look forward to from mon-fri...

rainy day today...when i woke up at bukit merah area on the bus with the usual "tired and how i wish i can sleep awhile more feeling" i had a sudden urge to skip gym today...when i alighted at tiong bahru plaza...still drizzling...the thought of going home to sleep was indeed very enticing...

gym today consisted of only arms...want to save my legs for sunday's 2nd link run...heh...

stuff on the "to get list" (apart from toys) recently...new pair of specs...new digicam...

gonna celebrate dad's birthday soon...havent decided on which restaurant yet though...also have to visit the dentist too! make use of the dental entitlement for this year...also need to redeem my starhub reward points...all these to be done hopefully within the next few wks...

well it turns out ah yee is attached...to a msian bf...oh well...

anyways we went to maestro bistro at cineleisure on friday night...we had mozarella chicken + choc fondue (the choc was SUPERB) + multi flavored cakes...

i tried my best not to stone too much throughout the evening...tried to think of stuff to talk abt...after dinner we walked ard the orchard malls which she hasnt been to...after which i sent her home...

10.07, 10.07, 10.07...woooh

was quite pissed when i clocked 10.07 for my first set of 2.4 intervals today...normally can hit sub 10 one...for the 1st set at least...

so i told myself in order to make up for the crap 1st set, i must try to maintain 10.07 for the next 2 sets...hoho...was quite apprehensive abt actually accomplishing that timing...

but when i came back 10.07 for the 2nd set...hoho...and then 3rd set also...hoho...felt darn good man...

finally gathered enough balls and asked ah yee out today...she had to ask her elder sis for permission though but permission was given!! and her birthday's tmr too!! omgomg...how ah how ah...i'm all pumped for this wkend!!!woooooh
