adrian takes on the tanglin route...under the 4pm sun!!!

so i got home earlier from school since attendance for today's hrm lecture was of no meaning...

saw the brilliant sunshine and decided to go for my run...i decided on the tanglin route again and this time bring my stopwatch along...

had a short warm up-saw a gigantic komodo lizard swimming and climbing onto the side of the kimseng river-huge bugger

then off i went...shiok man...the feeling as the sun blared down on me...very long never exercise under the sun le...looking more and more like a white skinny twig...anyways since i am more or less stuck in this skinny twig form, i might as well be a brownish skinny looking twig

just about reaching my half way point, my thighs started to feel tired...all of a sudden the sun shining on me did not feel so shiok le...hurhur...

so anyways i pressed on...slowed down my pace a little and when i reached the finishing point...i gave myself a pat on the back...not a bad run (33.20min) considering it was my first one under the sun in a VEERRYY long time...lesser traffic today but i'm sure i still got my share of carbon monoxide poisoning today...

climbed the stairs upon reaching home...fwah seh...seeing stars liao...did only ONE broad jump and decided to call it a day...drenched in perspiration man...wooh

Death of the little green dude

so i was washing clothes yesterday and noticed dad's canary was acting strangely-instead of being his usual chirpy self+jumping all around its cage, he kept mingling with his own poopoo-and i think at times he ate something from his poo...hmm

so dad tried to feed him some apple and lettuce...dunno got help anot
this morning dad tried feeding him lettuce again...dunno he got eat anot....

when i came home after sch, i did not see him perched on his stand...i knew something was wrong le...

so i went over to his cage to take a look and there he was...lying motionless on the floor of his cage...

i will miss him

attack of the Z monster

recess week is all but over...don't think i've achieved anything at all really...suffered many rounds of losing battles to the Z monster...manage to kill the sore throat monster early in the week though...phelgm monster still quite persistent though...nao haiz...

lucky the ulcer did not get worse...seems to have subsided-though it was constantly waiting for chances to get adrian to bite his lips again for him to grow...

went jogging in the evening and had one of those forrest gump "i just felt like running" feelings...

so i took the tanglin route today...from home past delta avenue estate and into the region clusterf'ed with jiak hong chus and foreign embassies...yee yor yee yor inside till hit tanglin mall and then the return journey...yee yor back inside the jiak hong chus and the what nots till reach delta avenue estate again

good run...plus got a good dosage of carbon monoxide poisoning from the traffic...ooh

had a slow warm down jog back home...did my usual sets of tug jumps and standing broad jumps...reach home treated myself to a nice cup of ovaltine-peng...shiok

bit my lips yesterday while having dinner...sigh
what a recess week...from monday's sore throat+running nose...to greenish phelgm...to white-ish mucus+spit...to white-ish phelgm...and now ulcer...nice progression hor...

still feeling abit high from yesterday's oasis concert though...hiak hiak....listening to "Don't believe the truth" now...solid stuff... as always

my very first concert experience...one of my favourite bands...what more can i say...hearing their cds is one thing...seeing their concert videos is another....but definitely nothing beats seeing and hearing them playing LIVE...

went with ronald and his friend john...fellow oasis fans
been their fan since way back in 1994...seeing them play live is a dream come true

the morning after an eventful weekend

eventful weekend...for me at least it was....

saturday
saturday started with the noise coming from my brother who was still in front of his pc at 5am+...kept interrupting my sleep...

so after tricia called at abt 6+ i decided to get out of bed to do my hrm ca...do until tricia arrived to deposit her nana at my place for awhile while she went for her gym session. first time a chabor fren of mine come to my place...hehe...

so after that it was back to hrm. then grandma called...saying she will drop by my place to visit us...so i vacuumed the house to prepare for the stand by area to be conducted by my ahma later...

so abt 11 my ahma+2nd aunt+youngest aunt arrived...chit chat chit chat...then wheeled down nana for tricia and after that went to buy lunch for ahma-we had hor-fun, the nice nice fried rice, rojak and dad made chinese tea...yumyum!

after lunch brought ahma down to see mum at cold storage...it was interesting seeing how mum tried to show her mum all the meat and all the things she did at the meat section...so after that we said byebye and ahma said got time must go visit her in muar.

came home do abit of work...napped...watched survivor...then went out for late dinner with tricia-we had yoghurt, chicken, mackeral, pizza...very full sia...

sunday...hohoho...getting to the exciting part...

morning wash clothes...after that do homework...napped...for some reason kept feeling sleepy...then went out with ronald...jalan orchard...sian man...reminded me very long never buy toy liao...

here comes the exciting part!!we went to this seafood eatery at ang mo kio (called mellben i think) with ronald's dad and his friend....SHIOK man the food...huge sri-lankan crabs in claypot with cream and chor beehoon...frigging SOLID...+pai gu wang+dou miao chao mushroom+rojak chicken...wa...it was superb man...

today....sigh
woke up with sore throat and running nose...still had to drag myself to sch to print out my 1st draft report. promised prof chai i passing it to him today...

thank goodness i had my h10 with me to make the trip less arduous...batt died on me though...lucky already reach sch liao...

went to my lab...ask lab tech can use their printer to print my report anot...she say cannot...went to another lab...the lab tech was nice enough to let me print...say by right cannot one...but since no one there he say he close one eye...so after 60 over pages of printing(it would have cost alot if i printed the whole report at the library...60cents for 1 page of colour man...siao!!)...

all done...went library to bind and hand in to prof chai...prof chai said got some bugger bringing some xray photography thingy down...say might need to bring all my specimens back to take xray photo...think wednesday need to go back again...

went home...knocked myself out on the train...still having the sore throat...running nose getting worse...must drink more liang teh later...

me: mama ke ah-yi gai lai liao...(meaning my mum went to my aunt's place already)
grandma: orh...ah nei ah...hor lor...byebye...(meaning liddat ah...good lor...byebye)
me: byebye
eh-bing=edwin(my brother) and eh-jhen=adrian...in teochew pronunciation...
so 泽权, zequan, adrian, adrain, check kuang, eh-jhen, eh-jong...take your pick...

wednesday...830 lecture day...yawns...

not a bad start to the day...got free arcade after lecture ...play those plane games where you have to shoot ridiculously super alot of enemies and dodge an even more amazing number of enemy bullets...so after 8 levels (with uncountable number of restarts) me and david finally completed...the 1st mission...oooh...
so high tide came and i had to visit the little boy's room...then came the fart...
