decisions we make

over the past few weeks i have been receiving quite a handful of free advice...from boss kevin, from boss kevin's father, from the auntie who sells coffee beans next next to boss's shop...
boss kevin says it's free seminar talk for me...

we dealt with a smorgasbord of issues...
about how we should 敢敢 try out and learn new things...about not abusing your power/status...about how we should speak up and stand up for ourselves when wrongfully accused and we have done nothing wrong/illegal...tips on how to chase girls...about how opportunities are always flying around you and how we should catch hold of them and not regret later...about not doing bad things cus what comes around goes around...about changing yourself to suit the surroundings when it's not possible to change the surroundings to suit yourself...about listening to what others have to say and how eventually after hearing and learning from others, we will still have to make the final decisions based on our own judgement.

i would like to believe that i have picked up a thing or two from all the chit chat advice i've received when working downstairs...maybe someday i might be the one handing them out to another person...heh...but till then i am more than willing to be the quiet listener (who hopefully can offer whatever 2cents worth of opinion he has if required)

this morning muay had to make a tough decision on IM canada...being the listener type, i wasnt able to offer much constructive suggestions/advice...
after seeking advice from friends, weighing out the pros and cons and thinking through what was the real goal of her taking part in IM canada, she eventually decided to give canada a miss

"i want to slow down n enjoy the process of trng. not becos i need to complete a race then i train, but more becos i love doin it n getting stronger thru it"
